Maybe even more important, though, is that when we cast vision we follow in the footsteps of our vision-casting God. God has been casting vision from the very beginning. In Genesis 1:26–28, He cast a compelling vision of man and his role in creation. In Genesis 12 He cast vision to Abraham about a preferred future for him even though he and his wife could not have children. He cast vision to Samuel in 1 Samuel 7 about David's eternal house, throne, and kingdom. He cast vision to Daniel about the future of the nation.
